Easter recornedbeefhashed

So, Easter morning was beautiful and we spent most of it on our balcony enjoying the sun. Also mimosas, which always help brighten the day. We only left when some wasps came around because they wanted mimosas, too. Do wasps have noses? How do they smell the sweetness? If you look up close, do they have little doglike snouts? Would you want to look at a wasp up close even if it did have a cute nose? Hmmm. Things to ponder.

Anyway, we spent several hours outside and were privy in that time to a dad, er, I mean Easter Bunny, hiding eggs and goodies for his kids, then them coming out with mom to commence the hunt. We cringed a little when dad hid two eggs at the base of the light post where at least our dog has been known to pee. Of course, everywhere he placed an egg was surely the site of past dog expressions. What can you do. We saw the little guy pick up something on the sidewalk that mom quickly got away from him, "No! Not the brown jelly beans, Man!" Heck. P.S. We live in rabbit alley, so you understand the concern. We're waiting for our boy to snort some on a walk. One day it will happen.
