Half Scrabble Thursday

Thursdays mean two things to me -- half-nekkid and Scrabble. The nekkid part usually happens late Wednesday night to get in right as the page turns, the Scrabble happens at 11am at the club with the ladies. We play two rounds with lunch in between. Often I have the highest scoring word of the day and, usually, I come in third overall. We play for money so it matters.

Half-Nekkid Thursday, talk about a triple word score. ;)

Tell a vision

Okay, two questions:
1. Grey's Anatomy - So, I guess when Gary moved to Seattle from Chicago and changed his name to Dylan, he stopped getting the Early Edition. Otherwise, he would've known about the explosion!!! Damn.
2. How did Gilmore Girls work Betty Friedan in so quickly? Seriously, she's only been dead 10 days, that's nuts.

Side note - I heard on the radio (NPR even) that GG doesn't have much viewership, just a small group of YOUNG women. So, there you have it, we are officially young. I love the news.

Who do you love?

Shane loves Jason Priestly. The picture's blurry because she could not stay still her love was so strong.

Half-Thursday Nekkid

This is the fourth and final photo from the series by my friend, Liz. No, she did not only shoot four pictures, more like two hundred and fifty four, but the rest show my face and you, dear visitors, just don't get any of that action around Monkey Poundcake. Oh, and there are some with a lot more nekkidness in your face, and those are just for my husband. (Who, by the way, gets home in two weeks!!!)

By way of answering some questions posed in response to last week's HNT, here are some explanations:
1. Yes, I am oiled. Liz sprayed something good smelling on me. I don't remember most of the next 18 hours, but she said I didn't do anything I wouldn't be proud of.
2. The tattoo on my chest is a raven from the Kwakiutl tribe of Northwest coast Indians. Or at least it used to be until the crappy tattoo thickened and lost much of the detail. I don't want to talk about it. But, I will tell you I still love the choice. Raven was a crafty, tricky fellow who did a lot of good - brought light to the world, got man out of that clam shell, stuff like that. Oh, and the tattoos on my lower back visible a couple weeks back are a bunch of flowers. Those are of a higher quality and look as pretty as a daisy. A ha ha! I am funny.
3. Yes, we will be getting some prints from the shoot. Waiting for Kitten to get home to see them all and then we'll choose.

Thank you all for coming! It's true what they say, if you're lonely and you put half-nekkid pictures of yourself on the internets, and strangers stop by and say nice things about you, you will feel better!

So confused

So today was our postal carrier's last day. She is retiring after more than twenty years serving this neighborhood. At least that's what I was told. I was also told to help commemorate this day by decorating my box. Well, I sat around here all afternoon with my box decorated and she never did come to the door. I know she was here because I checked my mailbox and the mail was there. Waaaaiiiiit a minute, I just thought of something, you don't suppose I was supposed to decorate my mailbox, do you?

***Update: While walking the dogs this afternoon, my worst fears were confirmed - several mailboxes in the neighborhood were indeed decorated. Man.
