Kids

The dogs just had an episode of completely nutty, hilarious, bonkers play. Since they can't play outside, it was in the living room. I encouraged them as much as possible, joining in to keep it going. The thought crept in that, when the human babies come, that kind of behaviour won't be allowed in the living room. Dogs don't cry when they whack their heads into the coffee table - babies do. Although dogs throw up, they don't do it as often as babies who've been running around. Also, it probably won't be cool to say to the kids, after they've stopped playing, "You crazy-assed motherfuckers calmed down now?"

Comments:
Of course you can say the mother-fucker thing to your kids, just be prepared for them to say it to you five times in a row the following day with proper inflection and in context. Kind of like when Grace last week. "Oh fuck, mom. Oh fuck. Oh fuck, mom. Oh fuck. Fuck."

Where did I stash those parenting books, anyway?

did you say babies?
was that a clue we missed kinda like the gym comment?

Future plan. Unable to execute currently.
